Birds of a Feather

In China, people often say that the same kind of people will be friends. That is exactly what kind of our relationship between my best friend and me. My best friend is very nice, and she has talent on langue learning. We grew up together from our childhood, so we know each other very well. However, after I went to another city to study in university, we only met twice per year. Especially after I went to the U.S., I miss her so much, and I know her miss me too because we have many similarities.
The most distinct aspect of us is that we love Japanese comic. The first time we got closely is because of the comic when we saw others on a comic bookstore. After that we found we had he same avocation， so we began to have a lot of conversion and the became good friends.
Secondly, both of us like reading and quite. We have so many different kinds of books at home that we often forget which books belong whom. In addition, we like The lord of the Rings, A Song of Ice and Fire, and many other books. That is why we always have interesting topic to talk with each others.
At last, another important thing is that we like cats so muchhhhhhhh! I had two cute cats when I was in university, but my mum did not like pets, so she helped me to fed the cats after I graduated from university. Of course, these cats are her favor too. Also that is why I feel at ease to give them to her.
In brief, I believe that we can be best fiends forever.

My favorite kind of weather

Weather is a popular topic of people's discussion, and one of the most common questions is do you like the weather in somewhere. Moreover, weather is an important factor when people chose where to live. In my opinion, I like snow，but my favorite weather is in my hometown, where I have lived for the longest time in my life.

Just like I wrote in a blog before, the weather in my hometown has a little similarity  with California. They are mild and do not have variety in one year, and my hometown is near sea as well. However, my hometown is moister than South California. When I had backed to my hometown from north China during the vocation, I almost could not breath because the air is so heavy that full of moisture. This kind of wet weather is good for skin, so I feel comfortable in hometown.

In summer, there are a lot of typhoons come to my hometown, but I like the weather when they come. The wind and rain are so heavy that many trees are fell down during the typhoon. At that time my friends and I love to see the weather to feel the power of nature. After the typhoons, the sky and air always become clear and fresh, that is another reason I like typhoons.

The winter in my hometown is really short, and it rains a lot. Temperature during the winter is not low, but because the weather is wet, people often feel colder that the snow places. In another hand, I still miss the weather since I left home to go to university.

In brief, my hometown's weather is my favorite. It is a really beautiful place and the weather is nice. No matter where I go, I will always love and miss my hometown.

My Lunar New Year Resolution

Lunar New Year is the most important festival of Chinese because Chinese people think this is a new begin of the year. People will eat special food such as dumplings and cerebrate Lunar New Year in many ways. However, The most important thing of people is make a wish of next year. For example, some people will hope they can make more money at the year, or some people will want to have a boyfriend or a girlfriend of the year. For me, I wish I could pass IBT test at this year especially in this semester, and I also want to get into the CSUF at fall; at last, I wish I can help the Midland Chinese Student Association become better and better.
At first, I need to pass IBT test this semester because I need the score to apply the master degree. In fact, this is the most important thing to me at those days. Since if I can not enroll in university this fall, I am going to back China after the ending of the semester. I really do not want this will happen, so I need to work hard on the Toefl to let me stay here to study.
In addition, I also hope I will have a good performer in the open university classes. As the journal I posted on blog before, I am trying to apply a different major from my undergraduate major. Therefor, the profess asked me to take some classes of this major first, then he can consider to accept me into the department or not.I wish I could enter the program after my hard working of this semester.
In the end, I join the MCSA some days ago, and I found the people in this group are very nice and have lots of enthusiasm.And the people in MCSA also want to help Chinese students adapt American and university environment. That is something so meaningful that I want to do.
The three things are my new tear resolution, I would like to make them come true through my working. And as time goes by, I hope I could say I did not waste this year in the end of 2013.

I believe that interpersonal skills are the most important skills described in this essay. The first reason is all human beings live with others, and no person can live along. That is why people need this kind of skills to communicate with friends,classmates, and so on. In addition, interpersonal skills are also a useful tools. When people work in a company, people need to use the tools to convince others, or let other people accept their opinions. This skills will bring success to the people who are good at interpersonal skills. That is why I think interpersonal skills are the most important skills.

4.Which skills do you think you have and why?

I think I have mental skills. I am not so good at communicate with other people, and physical are difficult to me because I am a really short person. However, I like solve problems as I will be happy when I find answers of problems. Also I like reading and thinking, I feel I could travel to every far away places when I read and think. Therefore, I think I have mental skills.

Introduction of me

I am Yuxian Chen, and from China. My home town is a small city near sea which locate in south China. The climate of my home town is very nice and friendly; it is almost like California. My city not only has good weather, but also when people walk on the street, they can smell the sea. There are many kinds of delicacies in my home town as well. For example, we have Vietnamese food, Cantonese food and spicy food.If some people interested in visiting China, my home town must be one stop during traveling.
I have been to U.S. for six months, and I like this place and CSUF. And I am trying to enter the master program in CSUF because the major which I really like is so good at this university. However, since the department I applied is changed from my undergraduate major, I need to take some classes first in this semester. It is really a hard time for me as I have had no background education. But I still hope I can get into the department in next semester through my hard working.
At last, I like comic and reading~and my favorite animal is cat! I had two lovelyyyyyyyyyy cats in China and I miss them so much......That is something about me~
